Rare Vesta case by Froment Meurice enameled gem-set and silver, match holder. Silver, light blue enamel, hardstones engraved mark “Froment Meurice” vertical rectangular form with canted corners, the finial depicting a winged putto holding torches atop a globe, birds of paradise handles flank the case, mythological plaques and masks adorn the front and back, and the whole is raised on four fire breathing dragon form feet; when the domed lid is opened by pressing the front mask a spring-loaded quadripartite interior raises 3 5/8”w x 23/16”d x 4 3/8”hPRICE RANGE
