DESCRIPTION
A rare German silver and enamel cigarette case. The front is enamelled with an elegant dancing couple, an illustration by the French artist and illustrator, Fabien Fabiano ‘Jules Coup de Frejac’ (1882-1962) (signed bottom right). Fabiano’s early illustrations were published in major magazines such as the New York Tribune and La Vie Parisienne. He travelled frequently and painted the portraits of many society members and famous artists of the Golden Age of Hollywood.PRICE RANGE
