DESCRIPTION
The bevelled rock crystal panels are engraved with foliate scrolls and star motives surrounding applied cloisonné enamel trailing flowers. The lid with a plain panel, reveals the enamel painted interior of Apollo and the Muses against striking turquoise blue ground. The base is also enamelled with the same turquoise ground.
